Starting from Pilismarót on the Danube, we visit a less visited corner of the Visegrád Mountains. We enter the interior of the mountain range in the Miklós-deák valley, dotted with lakes, and then climb up to the Hirsch hill with its beautiful views – beware, there is a climb to be expected here! After reaching the Upper Ecset Hill, after a magnificent panorama of Pilisszentlélek, we descend to the Hoffmann hut, then take a counter-climb to the Szakó hut, from where we take a long hike back to the village via the Szakó Hill with its partial views. The hike is 15.4 km long and takes about 5 hours.
